Chandigarh Malls and Hotels are set to reopen on June 8

UT Administration has decided to reopen all the Shopping Malls and Hotels from JUNE 8 In Chandigarh.

Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) allowed hotels and restaurants to reopen from June 8.Morning walkers can now do their walk in the ground.Revised timings of the night curfew plans is to be implemented from Monday.

The MHA today issued new guidelines for reopening of all activities that is outside the containment zones.UT Administration will take final decision on Monday.Following the guidelines,UT may allow opening of religious places and other hospitality services from JUNE 8.

Goverment implemented Night Curfew i.e Starting from Monday Onwards.The Revised timings of Night Curfew is from 9pm to 5am.

UT has decided for reopening of Schools, Universities ,Eductional/Training and Coaching Institutes in the month of July.While the lockdown will be implemented strictly in the Containment Zones,Some relaxations are allowed in non-Containment Zones.

UT Advisor Manoj Parida said they would strictly follow the MHA orders.He also said that barbershops and beauty parlour would be allowed to reopen in the first week of June.Barber Shops and beauty parlour should be open with full precautions measures.No barber shops will be opened without disposal towels and extra disposal charges should be taken by the barbers with a rate of Rs 50 by the barbers.And infrared thermometer is mandatory to have in the shops.
