Everyone is having this question in their mind that how many hours you should have to study to crack JEE and NEET exam. So,the answer for your all questions is as below.

One very important question asked by all the aspirants which is How many hours to study to Crack JEE and NEET Exam. And second question can be ,How many questions should one solve? How many hours to dedicate? How many books should they refer? So, we get plenty of questions like these which you are also familiar with. Students are very confused with the answers to these questions. So,there is some advice to those aspirants that how many hours to dedicate to clear exams like IIT JEE and NEET, and how many books should they refer.

Well, for hours, I always say to students not to use watch while you study or take breaks. Just keep aside the watch that time. Right? Just start studying whenever you have time and go on studying. There will be a time when you will notice that your mind is exhausted and after that, despite so many tries, you won’t be able to solve the questions. At that point of time, start taking rest! Don’t keep an eye on the watch during the resting period, restricting yourself. Just don't do that! Keep relaxing till you feel recharged. I always suggest this. And if you’re honest, you will be back to study if you are recharged even after 10 minutes.

Sharing the experience of a JEE Topper Anand. So, I would like to ask the same question as you have been a mentor to the top single digit JEE AIR 1 to AIIMS AIR 1 and also to many students who actually, despite potential could not get selected, right? So, what is your suggestion to these kids regarding how many hours they should study How many books they should refer, how many questions should they solve?  And In fact, I start recommending the students to solve and focus only on one book. So, either you are going to a coaching or you are self-studying Every time you require a book to be dependent on because book has a complete coverage. But you should be dependent only on one book. I have seen over these 12 years of my teaching experience that kids go to books just to attempt the questions of exams. Because they feel that the same question will be asked in the exam as mentioned in any book. In the next exam, they change their book expecting that the questions might have been asked from another book. And because of that, what happens is, at the end of their entire preparation, they are not done with a single book. This lowers down their confidence. And therefore, as sir said, and I would emphasize on the same thing that you have to focus only on one book throughout your preparation. So, this is first. The second, you have asked how many hours? So, yes, I would agree with sir, that one should not keep an eye on the watch while studying. But when you are studying, Nowadays, every exam is of minimum 3 hours duration Whether it’s Mains or Advanced. So, one should just try to train your body for those 3 hours. Therefore, even in your initial days, if you are preparing for, let’s say one hour slowly and gradually you have to move in such a way that you start sitting for three hours at a stretch And with that particular subject as sir said- ‘without any distraction’. For example, although I sat for three hours but was using mobile all the time. So that is not the way to approach. I think, you have to be on the table or chair with three hours full concentration for any particular subject. So, basically, if I could summarize, and you know, take what you just said It’s majorly around focus more rather than spread, right? So, it’s the focus which is really important. Be it books, be it hours, right? So, quality is more important than quantity is probably what you guys are saying.
